This public program, one of the best around, is designed for those with no rowing experience. The club was started in the mid-'80s to make rowing available to those outside the Ivy League. Full memberships are available and entitle you to unlimited use of one of the club's 20 single sculls, or you can crew in one of the competitive four- or eight-person shells. The 750 members include children, adults and organizations.
