In Short – Since 1958, when it opened as part of the Museum of Science, the Hayden Planetarium has been educating the masses through innovate presentations. Tilting their heads to look at the dome above, patrons have uncovered the mysteries of the milky way, discovered the rules of gravity and learned to identify the stars and planets of the night sky. Beyond astronomy, the space is also home to evening laser light shows choreographed to popular music. – –
