In Short – Football was cut at B.U. several years ago, but Nickerson Field soldiers on, serving as the home for the Boston Cannons (Major League Lacrosse). The stadium also continues to host high school football state championship games. FieldTurf and luxury boxes make it a reasonably modern facility, and there are 2,000 chairback seats among the bleachers.
