AWEFUL MANAGEMENT.
Recently i went to TT the Bear's and all i can say is the management is rude and extremely crass. Many friends were denied entrance with valid ID (College ID with birth dates on them) and rudely escorted out. I feel that the bouncers are very touchy, mean, and violating. This establishment has amazing bands but should be run under new management.

horrible management...be warned: you may be harassed at doo.
really dissapointing.
don't go here, unless you want to subject yourself to harassment at the door.
went with five friends for an 18 and up show...four of us (including me) had drivers licenses to prove our age. and two of my friends had college ids (with birthdays printed on them) to prove that they're 20. we weren't trying to drink. they DENIED ENTRANCE to the two girls without state issued ids. they'd already purchased tickets, mind you, and the college ids could be backed up with credit cards and other pieces of identification.
real jerks running this place. avoid giving business to them. middle east is right next door with much more respectable management.

Local bands rock at Central Square bar and live music venue..
This small-but-mighty bar and stage is a beloved underdog for live music. Steps away from the enormous Middle East complex anchoring the corner, TT the Bear's hosts indie rock acts almost every night, from hyper local to well-known national headliners, plus throws a weekly goth/industrial dance night on Fridays.
