Worst cinema in MA.. Horrible staff. They really don't seem to work very much, yelling profanities, fooling around, ect. The unprofessionalism of the staff is, as in all cases, matched only by the inadequecy of the management itself. They are constantly "out" of stock of more than a few of their menu items on any given night, they overbook theaters beyond their capacity and then refuse to give refunds. Ask to speak to a manager, they'll leave you waiting for a 1/2 hour to 40 minutes and don't seem to want to take any responsibility for anything. Bad projection departments: bad sound, blurry images. This place is a joke. Go to the one in Foxboro!

Great Theater / Poor Operations. I am a frequent movie goer, especially in the summer where I watch one movie per week. I typically watch movies at this theater and occasionally at Loews Cinema in Boston Common as well as Regal 13 in Fenway. Showcase Cinemas Randolph by far has the most issues with operating the theater! Last night my wife and I watched The Mummy 3 and the light above our head never dimmed. It was on full brightness during the entire movie. A couple of weeks before, we were watching a movie and there was no picture - only sound. It took about 10 minutes into the previews and several customers, including myself, having to go up to the front desk to tell them there was no picture. A month before that, it was the opposite. There was sound but the picture was cut off halfway. It took a while for them to re-adjust it so that it was actually on the screen. I do hope something is done about this because it is quite a waste. Randolph has one of the best seats and leg room for a theater in this area but it is plagued by employees that are not doing their jobs.

Worst Theater Experience of my Life. After reading online reviews and hearing recommendations from friends, I went to Showcase Cinemas in Randolph, MA to see WALL-E, my own most anticipated movie of the summer. The theater was crowded, but it was clean and large enough to accommodate the number of people present.

I got to the theater 20 minutes early so I could find a good seat. I ended up waiting a long time, because the movie didn't start until *40 MINUTES* after the scheduled showtime. In addition, the animated short 'Presto' which precedes the feature film was not shown, and the opening sequence of WALL-E was cut off. It took me 10 minutes to track down a manager and the staff was rude when I complained. I got a re-admittance pass but they refused to refund my money.

I've been to smaller theaters, older theaters, and theaters that were not as clean, but I've NEVER been to a theater and had an experience like this. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Healthy foods at concession. I recently visited the Showcase Theater in Randolph. I was very happy to see that they offer carrot and celery sticks with ranch dressing at their concession. This is a great way to encourage the kids to continue eating healthy even when they aren't at home.

Very Big, but pricey and rude. When Showcase opened up in Randolph, it attracted everyone from the surrounding areas. Sadly enough, those areas include the bad parts of Brockton, Stoughton, and Avon. I went to see some rated R movies only to see parents who looked no older then 20-21 taking their kids (5-8) to see these films. If you're looking for a large movie complex, this is it for the area. However, Don't even think about arriving any later the 30-45 minutes before the start of a new show, because by that time, tickets are all sold out. Pricing is also high.

magic. the clientele is very obnoxious! I went to a movie (which was very inappropriate for children) a girl who looked about 15 had a baby with her. Not to mention the "parents" who let their kids roam free throughout the movie. I once counted how many times a mother kept telling her 4 year old to shut up..this was in a very violent and graphic R rated movie. This really bothered me. The people who run this theater should not allow that!!!

Stadium Seating. After visiting this theatre once, you know you will never visit another. It's huge! If you miss the 9:00pm showing, Showcase Randolph is sure to have the same movie showing at 10:00pm. The seats recline and are very spacious. What a GREAT place to see a movie!
