For those who thought power hours applied only to their pre-21 college drinking days, think again: Morton's "Power Hour" deals range from $4 for Sam Adams, $5 for Cavit Pinot Grigio, $7 martinis and $6 bar bites. The name is a bit of a misnomer: These deals are good every day, open to close.
What's better than your own delicious pizza for dirt cheap? Your own delicious pizza for free, of course! From 5:30pm to 6:30pm every day of the week, Union Bar and Grill in the South End offers complimentary flatbread pizza at the bar.
Skip yoga and meditate on this: Everyday in the lounge, OM entices customers with half-price appetizers from 5pm to 6pm. Try the crispy calamari fries with chopped cherry peppers, a Caesar salad, or Thai mussels with coconut milk, chilies, basil, shrimp toast. On Mondays, prepare to reap even more goodies: for $10, you can order 6 signature momos (normally priced $7) and a signature cocktail of choice.
Fans of this sports bar/college club hybrid can rejoice further yet. JTree, as it is lovingly called by the locals, offers anything off their entire food menu at half price with the purchase of a beverage. The deal conspires Mon-Fri 6pm-9pm. If you're a wings-and-football type o' guy, watch the game while chowing down on 25 cent wings on Mondays. JTree also proudly presents a 2-for-1 burger deal on Wednesdays.
Roll up your days' frustrations and eat it: literally. On Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 11pm, $6 buys 3 tacos from a wide range of premium meats including prime skirt steak, slow roasted salmon belly and tuna tartare. Wash your Spanish sustenance down with a margarita or some sangria ($8/glass, $16/pitcher). Bar and lounge only.
Position yourself as the new Power Hour champ, in a different way than expected: Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm, Bambara offers $2 mini-plates of their fish cakes, calamari, flatbread, arancini and meatball sliders at the bar.
