A guys night out in Boston should start with proper grooming. The talented staff at this downtown salon know how to cut men's hair and give the royal treatment. Think complimentary wine or espresso, a head massage and a straight razor shave--all with Mozart playing in the background.
When's the last time you and your buddies decided to hit some fast balls? With spacious cages and inexpensive tokens, you can get in some serious batting practice. Best of all, these outdoor cages allow for the full ballpark experience.
Who says a guys night out is only for the straight crowd? We're fans of this South End gay bar that doubles as a sports bar. Fritz delivers a brunch worth checking out in the morning, as well, so either plan to return when the sun is up, or get a room in the Chandler Inn, the conveniently attached hotel.
For the foodie-minded group of guys, we suggest a stop at the bullish Toro. The South End restaurant does tapas right. The signature elote, grilled corn dressed with aioli, lime and cheese, is comes highly recommended. For the more adventurous, Toro obliges with dishes such as roasted bone marrow with oxtail marmalade. Be sure to order a bottle from the list of all Spanish wines.
